Print Design

Originally trained in print design, although I am heavily a digital designer, I do still get print ads to work on.

Most big campaigns will have a print ad along with digital and email, here are a few examples:

Angling Times and Todays Golfer

For Angling Times and Todays Golfer I designed a double page spread to advertise their magazines going on sale. Both campaigns were built in Photoshop and CMYK.

It is then placed into InDesign and fitted to the correct sizes and sent out ready for print to the production team.

Take a Break Bingo

The Take a Break Bingo campaigns are mostly digital but also have a print element that have to be resized for different magazine sizes.

Due to the audience age group print is important and is the first part to be designed and signed off before the digital ads are created. The design was created in Illustrator and Photoshop and then placed into InDesign. Some more design elements would be done in InDesign and then resized for various different magazines.

Bauer Media

Within Bauer I design adverts for events such as charities, social and in-house communications. To the right you can see one example of this with my Bike for Ben poster.

It was a charity for a fellow colleague who had sadly passed away and we were hosting a biking event to raise money for his family.

I drew the design in illustrator then put into InDesign ready for print.

Middle Class Milk

I run a freelance greeting card shop where I design and produce cards for all occasions. My style focuses on high-quality card stock and strong, thoughtful typography to create elegant and memorable designs. I use tools like Adobe Illustrator for detailed illustrations and Adobe InDesign for precise layout and text composition. Each design is carefully prepared for print in CMYK, with correct bleed, trim, and high-resolution assets to ensure a polished, print-ready finish.
